What we do

IPTV Compared is an independent editorial publication. We research IPTV services across 14 countries and publish comparison guides to help cord-cutters make informed decisions. We have no affiliate arrangements with any service we review. Revenue, if any, comes from display advertising only, which does not influence editorial outcomes.

Our scoring methodology

Each service is assessed across five dimensions:

• Channel availability — local, regional, and international channels; sports packages
• Streaming quality — resolution, buffer rate, EPG accuracy
• Pricing value — cost relative to channel count and competitors
• Device compatibility — Android, Apple TV, Firestick, Smart TV, browser support
• Support responsiveness — response time, resolution rate

Each dimension is scored 1-10 and a weighted average produces the overall score shown on review pages. We update scores when providers make significant changes.

Editorial independence

No service can pay to improve its score or placement. We do not accept guest reviews, sponsored content, or paid link placements. When we recommend a service, it's because it earned the highest score in our assessment, not because it paid for the position.
